Dartbrook is an 80%-owned unincorporated joint venture coal mine in the Hunter Valley with existing underground workings, rail load-out and a 6 Mtpa nameplate coal-handling and preparation plant. AQC declared commercial production after first sales in December 2024, but operator-related entities entered voluntary administration and secured creditor Vitol appointed receivers over the mine assets in July 2025. Operations returned to care and maintenance, AQC impaired its interest to nil and the receivers commenced a sale process. The latest explicitly carried JORC statement comprises a 2,534 Mt in-situ resource and 470 Mt ROM Probable reserve on a 100% project basis.
