Katanning is a wholly owned, DFS-stage open-pit gold development 40 kilometres northeast of Katanning. Its current 68.6 Mt resource contains 2.443 Moz and is inclusive of a 37.4 Mt reserve containing 1.330 Moz. The updated design uses conventional open-pit mining and a 3.6 Mtpa CIL plant. Accommodation-village construction and detailed engineering are early works, but the mine remains Feasibility because the principal environmental assessment, full project financing and board FID are outstanding.
