Salambidwe comprises exploration licence EL 0518 covering about 24.9km2 in the Chilwa Alkaline Province. Historical geochemistry, sampling and airborne geophysics identified rare-earth and niobium anomalies, but the project has not been drilled; AuKing plans data validation, modelling, mapping and sampling after the proposed acquisition completes.
