Astron sold Senegal Mineral Resources SA and the pre-production Niafarang project to Harmony Group under arrangements executed in April 2025. Astron retains no project equity but holds a passive 5% royalty on returns from future mineral production and a first right of refusal over product offtake. Harmony's prior small mining licence was revoked and the subsidiary has applied for reinstatement while continuing local and government engagement.
