Blackwater is a producing conventional open-pit gold-silver mine in central British Columbia. Its Phase 1 crushing, grinding, gravity and CIL plant entered commercial production in May 2025; Phase 1A is increasing capacity to 8 Mtpa and the approved Expanded Phase 2 is designed to lift total capacity to 21 Mtpa before the end of 2028.
