Zaldívar is a 50%-owned, Antofagasta-operated open-pit copper mine producing cathodes from heap and dump leaching followed by SX-EW. Its May 2025 environmental approval allows continued operations and provides an option to extend the mine life to 2051, subject to transition from continental water after 2028 and phased implementation of primary-sulphide leaching using Cuprochlor-T technology. At 31 December 2025, the operation reported 353.6 Mt of Ore Reserves at 0.40% Cu and 1,044.1 Mt of inclusive Mineral Resources at 0.36% Cu on a 100% basis.
