Sandstone covers approximately 740 square kilometres of the Sandstone Greenstone Belt and was Alto's sole advanced exploration project. The March 2023 JORC 2012 estimate defined 832 koz of pit-constrained gold resources across multiple shallow deposits, with more than 90% stated to lie within 150 metres of surface. Final Alto work focused on resource growth at Bull Oak, Vanguard and Ladybird; the project transferred into the Brightstar group when Brightstar acquired Alto.
