Altech Batteries is an Australian-listed battery-technology developer focused on the 75%-owned CERENERGY sodium-chloride solid-state battery joint venture with Fraunhofer IKTS in Saxony, Germany. The current commercial plan is a permitted 120 MWh-per-year manufacturing line supported by a completed definitive feasibility study and a conditional German grant, but full project financing has not closed and construction has not commenced. Altech discontinued its separate Silumina Anodes project in May 2026 and directed liquidation of that subsidiary.
