The Bisie Tin Complex comprises the adjacent Mpama North and Mpama South underground mines on mining permit PE13155 in Walikale District. Commercial production began at Mpama North on September 1, 2019, and the Mpama South expansion entered production in 2024 using a dedicated second gravity plant and shared site services. PE13155 is reported valid to April 2045, and the current twin-mine operation targets approximately 20,000 tonnes of contained tin production per year.
