Kunsu is an approximately 141-square-kilometre prospecting licence in the Ahafo Ano South District, about 35 kilometres from Kumasi. Four principal gold anomalies have been identified, while drilling and the September 2019 inferred resource are concentrated in the North Grid, particularly its eastern part. Akwaaba owns the project through Castle Sika Mining subject to a 1.5% NSR to Wononuo Investment.
